U.S.A. and me!
One day in Washington DC, one day in Philadelphia, two days in New York (Time square) and two days in the sweetest and coolest city in the great USA so far: Chicago.
These places, in addition to Las Vegas and Los Angeles last 3 weeks, changed ideas about US. Before those trips, it was just another boring rich country. Now it’s a very special one. It’s far better from inside than through the media.
So far I’ve been to ten cities in the USA. So diverse, I was amazed when I got off the Lincoln Tunnel leading to New York Downtown: High buildings people rushing taxies driving like I use to drive in some computer’s games. BUT once I turned into the 7th I couldn’t even talk to my mom who was trying to figure out the way to the hotel for me.
I visited some places in the world and I wasn’t that impressed like the way I felt in New York especially the Time Square. I realized that during my stay in USA I didn’t see the main part of it and I’m glad I did it now. For sure I’ll come back to visit again. I just realized that part of the American culture is hidden in me, through the movies and all kind of media in Tunisia and around the world. I’ve been dreaming about this world unconsciously and I’m glad I’ve been through it in reality.
Well, the office were I work is getting empty and sad. People around are trying to make some nice event to help the team to go through the closing of our department.
That’s life… We should keep the best out of it…
